The PHASES: 階段:

Phase 1 is the ENTIRE footprint (walls, roof, foundation) and the finished multipurpose space and 1st floor bathrooms.  This is the ONLY part we have in contract.

First Floor:  一樓:

Only the Multipurpose Space (or Gym) is fixed.  The rest of the interior is not fixed. Everything is open to suggestions but each change requires architectural re-design and consideration of how it will effect other areas (like plumbing).  We have requested better sound proofing between classrooms.

Phase IIB: Connectors  第二階段:連接器  

The CBE connector (orange rectangle) will be moved from the Children's ministry area (previous red rectangle) to the area with existing stairways due to safety recommendations, specifically access control.

The Second Floor: 二樓:

The lobby of the 2nd floor may change as there is now a coffee ministry. Based on the congregational poll from April 28, 2024, there was also a favorable vote adding a small coffee area to the new lobby.  Therefore, we may want to have slightly less seats, but a wider lobby.  The new lobby is approximately 62 feet long by 12-22 feet wide. Our current lobby is about 75.5 feet long by 22.5 feet wide.  We have also requested sound proofing between the gym and bathrooms and between the bathrooms and the sanctuary platform.

Outside: 外部:

Between the new building and current building there would be a little closed off hill of grass. I proposed an outdoor patio area for additional fellowship space. This was a favorable plan based on the congregational poll on April 28, 2024.

Exterior Walls: All Weather Insulated Panels AWIP (metal) 外牆:全天候隔熱板 AWIP(金屬)

The roof structure would support solar panels in the future and AWIP is a company that values sustainability. WELL certification focuses on people's health and wellness, while LEED certification focuses on environmental impact and sustainability. They have renewable energy goals including net carbon zero manufacturing by 2030, and to upcycle 1 billion PET products into manufacturing by 2025.


Our senior pastor, Pastor Pan has an architecture background and during his guest speaking opportunities, he also observed there are actually many churches choosing metal exteriors over more traditional materials.

The colors of the walls have not been decided yet, but we will do our best to complement the existing buildings and surrounding environment.

Playground: 操場:

The current playground area will be used for construction entry, and the playground will be relocated to the area near the front deck. The sidewalk will be extended to the main parking lot to provide easier access for pedestrians and strollers.
